What pizza post would be complete without one for the sauce?
I'm usually kind of lazy when it comes to making my sauce. I don't have a real recipe that I follow, I just throw in whatever I happen to feel like on that day. Here's an approximation of the basis of my sauce.
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
1/2 t olive oil
1 t sugar
1/4 t salt
1/2 t powdered garlic
dash of pepper
1/2 t oregano
1/2 t parsley flakes
Mix together in a small bowl. Makes enough to lightly cover 2 pizza crusts.
